Experimental Process

DNA-array expression analysis was performed with wild type RNA and mutant ArsS strains to identify helicobactor pylori G27 ureA and ureI are positively regulated by Ars~P. Additionally norhtern blot, Primer extension assay and DNAse footprinting were performed to verify the microarray results.

Gene Regulation

Regulated genes for each binding site are displayed below. Gene regulation diagrams show binding sites, positively-regulated genes, negatively-regulated genes, both positively and negatively regulated genes, genes with unspecified type of regulation. For each indvidual site, experimental techniques used to determine the site are also given.
